10 AI Tools For Students: How Technology Is Easing Academic Life

Many students are already using AI to make their assignments and are getting full assignments done by ChatGPT. AI is making students’ lives easier. Some people argue that AI is making our people lazy and that it’s not good for them. But I believe that if a student learns how to use AI, they can get much more work done, and with AI’s help, they can complete a task faster than an average student.

I’m going to tell you about 10 such tools that are AI tools or can generally help make students’ lives easier. These tools will be explained one by one, and many of them are AI tools.

1. QuillBot

The first tool in this list is QuillBot. Its main purpose is that if you create an assignment using ChatGPT, Gemini, or even Deep Seek, you can go to QuillBot and check whether that assignment is being detected by an AI detector or not. When assignments are submitted, the first thing teachers do is check them through AI detection.

QuillBot also does another amazing job: it automatically corrects your grammar and paraphrasing. Even if you’ve made the assignment yourself and not through AI, you can still upload it here. It will fix any grammatical or paraphrasing mistakes present in that assignment. As a result, you’ll get a better-quality product. Although I’m recommending this website for students, if you do any kind of work where you need better grammar, you can definitely use this tool.

2. TinyWow

The next one is not a tool but a website actually, it’s a bunch of tools. The name of this website is TinyWow. The amazing thing is that it has over 100 different tools available online. Things that people previously used to install as software on their mobiles or computers these people have now put all of them on the website. It’s completely free.

On TinyWow.com, you can convert PDFs into images, convert images into PDFs, reduce or increase file sizes, compress things, edit PDFs, or change an image’s format. If you’re a student, this website should definitely be bookmarked. It will provide you all those functions online and for free, which earlier took a lot of time and required software. It helps especially when, after completing your assignment, you have to submit it for printing in PDF format and some issue occurs.

3. Study.ai

Now is the era of AI. The next AI, Study.ai, can create quizzes for you according to your course. It’s amazing because it will ask you questions based on your own course, so before going to the exam, you’ll know how prepared you are.

You just have to upload your documents on the website, and study.ai will turn them into a proper quiz. The advantage is that it creates random quizzes, so even if you upload the same document again, you won’t get the exact same quiz every time. Since it generates quizzes based on your files, filling them out will help you understand how well you’ve prepared for your exams.

4. Duolingo and the Importance of Learning Languages

Let me tell you about a superpower you can gain during your student life one that is very difficult to acquire later and that is dual language (bilingual ability). In our region, there’s naturally a heavy emphasis on English, and it’s also a language such that by the time a student graduates from university, they can at least speak basic English.

But if you ask me, I’d say, learn Chinese as soon as possible. If you want to learn Chinese, the next tool can be very helpful for you. It’s called Duolingo, and what it does is gamify the process of learning any language. It turns language learning into a game format, so you understand the language while playing a game. It’s far better than the usual boring books.

Learn a language trust me, it’s a superpower. In our company, there were job openings where a person had no other skill, but since they could do language translation, we hired them. English, Chinese, and to some extent Spanish these are the languages you must know.

5. Gamma AI

On my first day at university, the English teacher immediately asked us to give a presentation and we had to create one within an hour. If you’re someone who struggles to make presentations, you can use Gamma AI.

In the earlier days, we used to spend three or four hours sitting on PowerPoint, and then end up with a poor presentation. Now it’s the age of AI. Go to Gamma AI, and it will automatically select templates, gather information, and create a proper presentation on your chosen topic. It’ll look like a professional made it.

6. Google NotebookLM

Often, we have a senior at university who has read every book and whom we go to for advice. That senior, maybe even someone who once failed, gives us great suggestions. Now imagine having that kind of senior but one who’s a topper.

Google has made that happen through its AI tool called NotebookLM. You can feed it your entire book that is, upload your full PDF. Then you can ask it questions, and it will only give answers from that very book.

The advantage is that when you normally search something on Google, it brings information from all over the world sometimes even info that isn’t in your textbook. NotebookLM removes that problem. It gives you the answer and also tells you how it came up with it.

You can also do many other things with it you can ask it to extract important points from a large book. You can even say, “I have a test tomorrow on Chapter 1, I can’t read the whole thing summarize it.” It can do a lot. Think of it as “drinking up” your entire book and then making things easier for you.

If you give NotebookLM a YouTube video that contains a podcast, it will listen to the podcast itself, and you can ask questions from it as well. You can even ask it to summarize the podcast. For people who listen to podcasts, this can also be extremely helpful.

7. To Do Ist

One thing very common among school and university teachers is that they love giving assignments like they’re giving out sweets. That’s why we often end up forgetting them.

No problem. There’s an app called To Do Ist. It’s made specifically for assignment scheduling. You can schedule which assignment is due on which day, and it’ll keep reminding you. If you have multiple subjects, you can organize them accordingly. If you’re a student, definitely download this application.

8. Napkin Ai

In mathematics, we often create flowcharts. In presentations, we make various types of graphs. Sometimes we’re given a complex statement and told to convert it into a graphical format or to compile data.

For all these things, there’s an AI called Napkin AI. Its job is to create flowcharts, graphs, and more based on any given information. Since it’s designed specifically for this, it understands the context what exactly the user’s need is. Next time you have to make any graph, pie chart, or flowchart for physics or maths, this AI will create it for you. It even adjusts the information accordingly.

9. Text to Handwriting.com

Okay, don’t misuse this but it often happens that teachers say you have to submit online, but it must be handwritten. There’s a website called Text to Handwriting.com. You can paste any text there, and it’ll convert it into a format that looks handwritten. After that, if you download and upload it… Here the speaker stresses that he’s not telling you to do this he’s just informing you about it.

10. Gauth AI

Gauth AI is the last tool and in my opinion, the most powerful one. The reason is that inside Gauth AI, you’ll find separate sections for physics, chemistry, and math. If you have any math question in front of you, take its picture it’ll solve it for you. If it’s a chemistry question, take its picture it’ll solve that too.

Because you can divide by subject, it also understands whether the question comes from a chemistry book or a physics one, and gives answers accordingly. For students, this is extremely useful definitely check it out.
